What is Apparazzo?

Whether we want to admit or not, we’re all a little obsessed with celebrities. It’s fun to flip through rag mags and visit blogs to see pics of our favorite famous folk, but it’s distressing to hear about the lengths that some paparazzi will go just to snap a picture. We’ve all read stories about them chasing down celebrities in their cars, hiding in trees, trespassing onto private property and more.

In response to these inappropriate and sometimes dangerous antics, we created Apparazzo, a social application built to stop paparazzi by harnessing the power of the people. We, the fans, take the pictures whenever we have a celebrity encounter and share them on Apparazzo. That way, we get our fix and no one gets hurt.

Our code:

1. We love celebrity pics.
2. We don’t love the tactics paparazzi use to get them (hence our slogan!).
3. We can fill our need for celeb pics ourselves.
